Be bold this Valentine’s Day
Being single can be hard on Valentine’s Day
Valentine’s day is actually the perfect day to get a date. It’s the one time when you can get away with gestures that might otherwise seem over the top. No matter how much they might moan and protest, most single people really do want (and hope) to get a Valentine’s message from an admirer. However, don’t waste this chance by going about it the wrong way.
Some people use the opportunity to send out lots of anonymous cards or emails to people they are interested in. This is all very pointless unless the other person knows it’s definitely you. Otherwise you won’t achieve anything other than brightening their day a little.
I don’t advise you to text the person you like with a soppy Valentine’s message either. This makes you look both cowardly and penny pinching. If you want to make a good impression, go big on the romance. There’s nothing romantic about texting or Facebooking!
It’s fine to send a card, cupcakes or flowers, but deliver them personally. Women love a man who takes control and men love it when women make the first move.
Don’t be afraid to make a big romantic gesture. If it doesn’t work out, at least you know you tried. You never know, it might just have the desired effect and you’ll end up with a date and hopefully more.
Good luck!
