I’m not saying you should never try out a slightly different shot. \u00a0It’s fine as long as you have plenty of normal ones. \u00a0This could serve well as an icebreaker, so make sure it’s something worth commenting on.<\/p>\n
Here are some other photos that you should avoid.<\/p>\n
1) Avoid photos with lots of friends of the same sex. \u00a0This just looks strange. \u00a0Also, what if someone likes one of your friends more than you?<\/p>\n
2) Avoid photos of you with someone of the opposite sex too. \u00a0 If it’s just one person they will assume it’s an ex partner and naturally compare themselves. \u00a0Nobody likes to compete.<\/p>\n
3) Anything with you drinking alcohol. \u00a0Of course many people like a drink from time to time. But if you have a bottle of wine\/beer in your hand for each of your photos you’ll be viewed as a party animal.<\/p>\n
4) Be careful of fancy dress. \u00a0You might think you look hilarious in a wig or in costume, but if it’s your only shot it can be confusing. \u00a0 Always think about the reaction of the person looking at your photo album.<\/p>\n
5) Don’t use anything that you aren’t in. \u00a0Yes, it might be a funny joke or cute kitten but it’s not you!<\/p>\n
