Friends would describe me as good company; funny, well informed, honest, thoughtful, and generally with left leaning views with a creative flair. I can be practical and, when I get the chance, enjoy gardening and growing simple plants and flowers. I am competent at DIY and enjoy cooking for myself and others. My work is in aviation which has always fascinated me.
I am friendly and passionate about what I do and believe in. My cultural roots are important to me. I care about human rights and support such activities. I value integrity, loyalty, open-mindedness, ability to listen and to accept human fallibilities.
After moving about the UK I now live in an attractive part of England not too far from Stonehenge. There is so much to see in Wiltshire. When I get the opportunity, I like going up to London taking in the sights, and visiting galleries, museums. I enjoy art-house films, food, drink, and a good natter.
I like music of all kinds. These days I am tending more towards Punjabi classics. I like Radio 4 in the mornings, and enjoy good satirical comedies. I've a good collection of books covering diverse subjects and like to return to them from time to time. I like to keep fit as well as jog regularly.
My travels have taken me, amongst other places, to India, France, Spain and USA. Would like to extend this activity to place I have not seen.
There are many things I'd like to do; read more, walk by the sea and travel/drive more in France as my French is at undergraduate level. I am in favour of a better work life balance, something that would be a lot more fun with someone to share it with.
