A bit about me: Ambitious. Grounded. Cultured. I'm at that stage in life where I am ready to get to know - and settle down with - that special someone.
My interests: museums, the arts (everything from photography to music), travelling, hikes, the great outdoors (a day out at a National Trust park is right up my street), and politics (which is a big part of my life).
My personality: according to my friends, I am down to earth, principled and cultured, with a forward-looking approach to life - my glass is almost always half full. Someone asked me the other day what one TV programme best describes me. My answer: Suits, House of Cards and The Crown - you'll have to watch an episode of each, and then meet me, to find out why.
About my family life: It's just mum, my sister and I. We are all very easy-going and strike a good balance between being modern, religious (but not overly) and fun! We have a large extended family, which we're close to - family gatherings are always eventful!
A bit about what I am looking for: I don't have a definitive checklist. However, having the right balance of ambition, independence and wit are traits I gravitate towards. I would also like to meet someone who is responsible and confident within themselves, with their life and direction.
