This time of year Fireworks may seem like a fun activity and taking your date to a fireworks display can also be a great opportunity to share an experience, cuddle in the cold or seek out a cheeky kiss.

But if you have a dog or other pet, it can be a scary time.

Think about whether it is OK to leave your animal at home when there are fireworks outside. They may need you at home if they are likely to be scared or nervous.

What Can you do to help your pet?

Some say soothe your dog or offer treats so they associate fireworks with treats. But the best tip is to acclimatise your pet by playing them firework sounds through your sound system all year round. There are plenty of videos of fireworks on YouTube.

Play these sounds gently at first and during normal activities like meal times, cuddle times or during a game of fetch. With any luck they will ignore the sounds completely. You can then gradually turn the sound up.

Search on Youtube for “Firework Sounds” “Firework Desensitizing Sounds for Dogs” etc.

I have found this to be a really helpful strategy. My dog completely ignores fireworks.

Some people are seeing Go Dating Ltd on their card statement and not realising that this is their membership with Asian Single Solution.

It normally appears as Single Solution but occasionally it is still appearing as Go Dating Ltd.

Following our successful event in May, in June we are offering two events, so there is an event for your specific age group. We return to Kindred in Hammersmith at the end of June for our younger mid 20s to late 30s event. If you are one or two years either side you may be able to attend but check with us to clarify.

Our events are aimed at Hindu and Sikh professionals. We always have our friendly hosts on hand to ensure that you meet lots of new people. If there is space, we usually offer rounds of mini speed dates where you can meet 7 or 8 people over a 25 minute breakout from the main event. If offered, sign up when you arrive.

For group tickets we also accept bookings on Eventbrite. If there is a waiting list, you can jump this and book as a male female pair or group. See you soon.

My only thought would be that where it says things like, “Your profile stood out” or “I was impressed by your profile” I would suggest that you should be more specific and say what exactly stood out. Of course these are generic responses. If you can read the other person’s profile and make the comment and qusetions, person specific that is always going to work best.
